I got this on steam and kudos, this is such a curious unique game. I will probably never make it far (my first attempt made it to the 4th floor) but I love the concept and everything that makes this spooky. The sound design is fantastic, very unusual but in a great, uncanny way that made me very uncomfortable. And so are the ghosts, they really stand out.
hey! Glad you enjoyed, thanks for playing. The version you’re playing looks kind of old. Did you download it a while ago? Ton of updates since.
yeah id say a few weeks back!!! but not sure lol
this game is very addictive and very fun but its very dark espically the 2nd floor and the other floors but very fun
This game fun But too dark to watch
I can't see anything at 2floor
This is a interesting game. I'm curious on the torutaru house. What's the inspiration behind it and which myth did it come from. Also, I'd put in maybe 1-2 rooms at the absolute beginning to showcase which keyboard key does what.
Decent game for sure. Here's my channel for other games I have played. http://www.youtube.com/c/Levont
Great playthrough, and great observations while playing. Was hoping nobody would notice the paper walls, but it is tied into lore.
The idea came from a series of dreams which I further developed into a plot. The story will be a bit more revealed in future updates.
Good suggestion, yeah there will at some point be a “tutorial” in the beginning.
Noticed this is a slightly older version. About 6 hours ago I uploaded an update I think you will really like. New intro, lots of new content. Give it a shot if you like.
Thanks again for your interest and your playthrough.
Had a good time playing this one! It's a very strange setup for a game and I find myself wanting to know more, but it can be tough to get the pieces of lore while running away from everything haha. Check out my playthrough here if interested:
This game has a pretty damn good grasp of proper sound design. My biggest issues with this game are the really strong video filter and overall darkness that is unnecessary in my opinion. The matches are not enough for the darker areas within levels 3 and 4. It can be quite hard to tell what is what when the filter and darkness work against you within those areas. I still enjoyed my time playing this game, and I hope you're willing to give us an option or slider to lower the strength of the filter and maybe just have the match light on permanently.Whoaaaaaaaaa Just saw some gameplay of this and love the atmosphere you created, very inspiring! I have about 8 years of music production experience and I would love to produce your music/create the foley needed to push your atmosphere to the next level. If you are ever working on a new project I would love to amplify your mix!
The game is great at making you feel lost and turned around, even with the map. I thought the haunts wouldn't be good but the sound design and the hopeless nature makes them great.
Hiii, I've made a video about the game and wanted to share some feedback about it, hopefully it is useful to you ^^
-The "story" and concepts on the game are interesting.-The gameplay mechanics are pretty good but hard to understand at first and, In my case, took me "a death" to figure them out with mor precision.
-The level design is good and it gets well combined with the visual style of the game and the gameplay mechanics, but sometimes is easy to get lost, especially when the tension increases.
-Visually the game looks incredible and makes the game feel quite cohesive and scary ^^.
Hopefully this is useful to you :D, also if you could subscribe that would help me a lot :)
Regards
So, so game, little bit over too much, but yet very stylistic and functional and interesting...some sounds were buggy, but it's ok, I guess. Fine game.
I really liked the style of the game, the use of traditional Japanese doors and the endless generation of the map. I played it a total of three times as shown in the video and for my third try, I have no idea if I was supposed to be able to pick up the key and unlock the brown double door because I couldn't pick it up. If there is a certain key on the keyboard to pick up items, please mention it at the start of the game as on my third try, I think I had nowhere to go already XD. I have played another infinite world generation game before, if I remember correctly, it is called SuperdRug, expect that there was no aim to that game.
I really liked the storyline of the game, it would be cool if there were flashbacks of the main character with his partner while trying to find her and maybe more horrifying events that could occur instead of monsters trying to kill me or random people standing in the hallway. Overall, this is a really cool horror game and it would be awesome to see it continue developing into an actual horror game.
Thank you for reading my comment and I wish you good luck in your future endeavours.
Thanks so much for playing :)
Maybe I should make this a bit more clear. I'm seeing in a lot of playthroughs people not knowing the controls being an issue... It's keeping people from seeing an enormous amount of content. C to pickup items.
I'll add it to the description. Thanks for playing and pointing this out.
Well, I pointed out too :)).
Anyways, good luck with your projects hiddenVisions.
Thanks man, I think I could have completed the first level on my first try :(.
Great game!!!
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and story a lot, jokes aside, the game has a big potential. I played more off screen and it's neat. The idea and visuals, art style is top notch, thanks a lot for making such a good game. One little problem thou was the controls, I could not find them, so I manually checked the hot keys for them, it's not a big issue, but, maybe put the controls in settings, because I could not access F1.
Good Luck for you future projects!
